Andy and I saw Moneyball for free last night, and it was surprisingly good. It definitely made me miss Oakland, which was unexpected.
But my favorite part was the woman next to me who obviously had no clue how the A’s season ended that year, with her gasps and “oh no!”s. She really thouught the A’s were gonna win it all in some big tear-inducing Hollywood ending.
Oakland is a long way from Hollywood.
